You’ll be joining a high performing, dynamic team and using your expertise in donor care, supporter stewardship and relationship building. If your passion is for animal welfare and you enjoy cultivating and building great relationships with supporters for a meaningful cause, we would love to hear from you. As the organisation moves forward and the Gifts in Wills Team grows, this is a genuinely exciting moment in time to be joining one of the country’s largest animal welfare organisations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager- Gifts in Wills, this role is responsible for developing, growing and maintaining great relationships with The Lost Dogs’ Home Gifts in Wills (GIW) supporters. Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and nurture positive relationships with supporters within the GIW Program with regular telephone or written contact and face-to-face engagement where appropriate.
  • Accurately assess, qualify and classify the level of interest and commitment from supporters to including a GIW, including all leads generated by direct response activities.
  • Contribute towards promoting GIW across all channels and identifying opportunities to inspire supporters through sharing great GIW stories.
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to support GIW supporter relationship touchpoints, such as sending birthday cards and Christmas cards.
  • Plan and manage supporter engagement events and communication activities to identify new GIW supporters and establish loyalty, connection and trust with existing supporters.
  • Maintain regular and strategic communications with a key group of high value potential and confirmed GIW supporters including tours, telephone calls, visits, donation thanking, and writing personalised notes.

About you
