About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an internal candidate to take on a 3-month part-time secondment as a Training Coordinator. This role plays a key part in supporting our organisation’s capability growth by coordinating, administering, and supporting key training programs.

Reporting to the Animal Program Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of programs and training initiatives. This will include internal training programs that enhance employee skills and support meaningful career development across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Coordinate and administer training activities including compliance, induction, development programs and external learning initiatives such as Pets and People and Highrise Hounds.
  • Liaise with internal departments to support consistent delivery of core and role-specific training
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting through the Learning Management System (ELMO)
  • Update and manage training resources and documentation
  • Support planning and communication of new learning initiatives and refresher programs

About you:

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives on supporting others to succeed. With a proactive mindset and strong communication skills, you excel at managing multiple priorities. You’re a confident presenter with experience in learning and development or administrative coordination, and you take pride in delivering engaging and effective training experiences.

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in animal behaviour, veterinary nursing, or shelter operations
