Locum Veterinarian – Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic                                          

• Not-for profit Veterinary Clinic based in inner Melbourne, close to CBD 

• No weekend, sole charge, or OOH work 

• Modern, purpose-built clinic, support of 10+ vets onsite 

About the opportunity : 

Due to the growing demand in our services, we are seeking a locum veterinarian to work 3 – 4 days a week, starting ASAP for three months. The shift times will be 8am to 4.30pm, however, there will be some late shifts finishing at 7pm. 

Frank Samways is a truly unique clinic in our community, this is a great opportunity to locum for a growing and progressive clinic. We are a modern, purpose-built facility, which not only provides services to privately owned pets, but the team occasionally look after stray and foster animals that come in through The Lost Dogs’ Home. 

A typical day looks like: 

In this role you will provide medical consultations and perform surgery, with regular slots during the day for case management and lab follow up. You will have the opportunity to diagnose and manage cases independently, as you work on a range of diverse cases, performing diagnostic workups in house as much as possible. 

We are looking for a Veterinarian with minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience and holds a current Victorian Veterinary registration.
